Challenge #12

This was a sort of hybrid project.
We were given a card and envelope template to make something personalized.

I created this card for my husband who is having a stressful week.
His yearly review yesterday and today his interview for his US citizenship.
He's been trying to get this now for 14 years.
They had lost 3 of his applications, and finally found his first one date 1996.

Card Inside (Left)- “Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.” Henry Van Dyke
(Right) BY Diosa - My Love, We have experianced all these times together, and I know we will again.
While others will only be momnets, I look forward most to eternity. I love you!

Challenge #11

For this challenge we were given a "Humpty Dumpty" template
and had to put it together again any way we wished,
but using all the shapes and pieces.

ADSR5 Challenge #10

Today's INSPIRATION has been brought to you by
the sense of TASTE and the COLORS of the RAINBOW,
in all the BITS and PIECES around us.
(and tomorrow it will come from somewhere else)
This challenge was an "Intersection" like the ATC one earlier in the race.
Both partners work on one layout.
3 Scripts of Cassel's where used here:
New Bits and Pieces Script
Round Puzzle
and
4x6 Puzzle
Check out her shop HERE and see what other wonderful Scripts she has.
Other Credits:
Paper and bead spills: SDD_ADSR5_Mega kit
Fonts: Comic sans MS, Impact and Courrier
We thought that inspiration comes from just any bit and piece around us, whether it is color, taste, texture, sound and it never comes from the same place all the time. I did provice the food picture collage puzzle, and Cassel provided the bits of color picture puzzle.

365 Week #10

I decided not to do my usual 365. This is a tribute to someone who has touched my life even though we live many miles apart and have never met. My heart goes out to the family in what has been a most difficult time.

I present to you Layla Grace!

ADSR5 Challenge #9

Here is my "Creativity" Layout!

Here is Cassel's "Creativity" Layout!

This one was interesting with it's requirements.
But the main thing was this quote:
“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing,
taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes,
and having fun.” - Mary Lou Cook

365 Week #9

This is such a sweet lil girl!
She's definitely at home on the Farm.

365 Week #8

I did a photo shoot for my-ex and the kids.
There were fun shots and
generation photos.
All part of my "Motly Crew".
Love you guys!

Just for fun!

I did this for fun while waiting to get my internet back.
It's every ex-wife's dream to get these poses and do this with them.
Lucky for me, my ex and I are friends and he does have a sense of humor.
Thanks Steve!

ADSR5 Challenge #8

My "Someday" Layout!

Cassel's "Someday" Layout!

These were fun to work with.
Some serious and some with a good sense of humor.

ADSR5 Challenge #7

Cassel's Layout and List!

The Bucket List!

This challenge was extremely hard.
Ever try writing your bucket list in 7 days?
And then you have to scrap it?

It was so worth the effort.

ADSR5 Challenge #6

This was my layout!

This is Cassel's!
This challenge was a road block so only one of us actually had to do it.
So I did it just for the fun of it and to challenge myself.
